About The Instructor
Gabrielle Pullen specializes in working with people looking for ways to resolve their own pain, manage rehabilitation after surgery or injury, and restore a sense of comfort, safety and agency. As well as being a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner since 2004, she is also a Yoga Nidra iRest® Meditation Instructor since 2008, and a John F. Barne's Approach® Myofascial Release Therapist since 1997. She sees a common thread woven through every modality she teaches: they are all powerful somatic processes that help people regain function, enjoyment, and satisfaction in ways that people can do themselves. They provide a clear path back to sovereignty and an affordable alternative to outsourcing wellness to external systems that may privilege the bottom line over the heartfelt bond of consciousness that connects humankind.

Gabrielle has been conducting workshops and classes for years in Awareness Through Movement® (ATM), as well as in Yoga Nidra iRest® Meditation for releasing hyper-vigilance, emotional overload and PTSD. She has also been a facilitator for Gather the Women where the "Her Story" Women's circle resulted in the publication of "The Write to Heal Anthology," about the moment of release from servitude: poems, memoir and non-fiction from women about the moment of insight that made them ready to leave an abusive relationship. Thus, writing is another somatic practice she is heavily engaged in - hosting a weekly writing group that has been meeting for seven years on Zoom. She is the author of the "Insight Journal" Vol. I - Healing Core Wounds.

An additional contribution to the general sanity of the world, and to the personal peace that helps foster global self-regulation, is the Yoga Nidra Dyad, wherein stuck emotions are released as she guides you in giving voice to the memories held in the body after experiences of non-verbal shock or trauma. These somatic solutions work because trauma happens faster than thought.

Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons use gentle, novel movement sequences to improve how people sense and organize their actions.


Through guided attention to functional and developmental movements that most people learn before they can talk, participants refine coordination and learn to reduce unnecessary muscular effort.


Each class builds progressively, heightening sensory awareness and often revealing new ways of navigating movement in the field of gravity, allowing painful compensatory patterns to fall into disuse.


Over time, this improved proprioceptive learning can foster better self-regulation of movement and stress responses, helping people access their own internal resources for comfort, function, and problem solving.
